Join us from 3pm-8pm at Angel Mounds on Saturday, August 7th for the 6th Annual Bluegrass & BBQ.
It may not be the same as when Native Americans occupied the site, but social gatherings amid good food and good music have been a long-standing tradition at Angel Mounds, and Bluegrass and Barbecue is no exception. Come join us for food, fun, and music, as the area’s best bluegrass artists will perform throughout the afternoon and keep on pickin’ into the night! The show will feature such talent as Kentuckiana Grass, King’s Highway, and Spare Change Bluegrass.
Barbecue plates, as well as additional food and beverages, will be available for purchase. Coolers are permitted after inspection. No alcohol is permitted on the grounds. Visitors should bring their own seating to this family-friendly occasion, which will be moved indoors in the event of rain. The concert starts at 3 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. Admission is $5.
